Workshops on Non-Violence and Civil Peace in the provinces of the Gaza StripPanorama Center's Gaza office concluded a series of workshops on nonviolence and civil peace, aimed at school students between the age group 13 - 16 years, carried out in coordination with a number of centers and institutions for the category of children. The center conducted 8 workshops in the provinces of the Gaza Strip attended by about 300 students, which were addressed to the concept of (violence and nonviolence, civil peace - the acceptance of others - pluralism and partisanship - tolerance), with a focus on the role of students in need of taking the initiative to defend human right abuses by the local community and have a prominent role in highlighting the problems that limit the civil peace and develop appropriate proposals to limit this phenomenon. The participants in the workshops addressed a range of issues and highlighted particularly (internal fighting - the suppression of freedoms - the absence of rule of law - racial discrimination) The students demanded the existence of such workshops and circulated to the largest possible number of students in order to reflect its importance as the Palestinian case and that the phenomenon of political partisanship and power struggle have spread among the various categories of the Palestinian people, especially school and university students, resulting in the damage and the absence of all forms of human security have, as reflected in the practices and behaviors. It is worth mentioning that the management of these workshops and dissemination of their students within the same age group received training in these subjects, which contributed to raise the motivation of students to participate in such projects which allows them the opportunity to express their views, contribute to the development of skills and abilities and build their personality. The civil peace draft carried throughout the 10 governorates of the Gaza Strip and West Bank, for the age groups (13 - 16 years), aimed at (promoting community awareness about the culture of civil peace among students in schools and Palestinian society - to prepare leaders able to exchange and dialogue – Methods to pressure the need for peaceful reconciliation and national unity). The project was conducted in partnership with the Gaza Strip (Palestine Red Crescent Society / Khan Younis - Ghassan Kanafani Society Development - General Yebos Foundation - Forum of Science and Technology - Club Services of Rafah / Women's Department - Association of Twitter for Culture and Development and Reconstruction - Association for the Development of Women and Children in Rafah).
